Who We Are
Wellness Health Services was founded in 2019 by Donnell Simon and Asekia Barmont, licensed, bonded, and insured to provide services in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and the surrounding counties, including Montgomery, Chester, Delaware, and Bucks. Together we have over 18 years of experience in the nursing and social service field as well as military service. We believe that our clients and staff are family.
Our goal at Wellness Health Services is to help our clients achieve wellness through safe, competent, and compassionate care. We change lives by meeting our clients’ needs, exceeding their expectations, and fostering autonomy, choice, and independence in order to achieve wellness. We provide services ranging from 4 to 24 hours, seven days a week, including holidays. We are here to provide quality home care service for you.

Purpose Driven Passionate Care
My name is Asekia Barmont. I am the CEO and founder of Wellness Health Services LLC. I was driven to the healthcare profession when I was a little girl. When I was ten years old, my mother became sick with Multiple Sclerosis. I remembered, as a little girl, I was helping my mother throughout the day and night to get onto the commode near the couch or her bedside. I recall helping her to eat her meals because she no longer had hand coordination and changing her clothes because she could no longer control her bladder. I remember my father carrying her up and down the steps because she was too weak to walk.
As the years went on, my mother’s condition progressively worsened, and my father, brother, and I could no longer provide care for my mother in our home. Thus, my father was forced to make a tough decision to place my mother in a home for the disabled. My brother and I were school-age children at the time. We really missed our mother being at home. We felt sad and had a sense of emptiness. It was difficult for us to adapt.
My mother lived in a home for disabled individuals for over twenty years until she passed away in 2013. I dedicate Wellness Health Services LLC to my mother, Ramona Elsie Bond, and commit to providing compassionate, family-centered, quality home care service that fosters choice and independence for our clients and their family. I am proud to provide services that allow families to stay together in their homes.
